  • At Plandid, we thoroughly vet our photographers and videographers— both professional and iPhone creators— to ensure they possess the necessary technical and creative skills. You can join directly through our app and provide specific details about your services to assist us in evaluating your suitability for our platform.   • Each photographer and videographer on our platform has the option to choose their own cancellation policy, ranging from relaxed to strict, which determines the refund period between 48 hours to 1 month prior to the event.

    If a client fails to show up or cancels past the cancellation policy the photographers/videographers will retain 50% of the booking cost.

  • Photographers and videographers who work with Plandid will receive payment for their services within 3-5 business days after the photoshoot. This payment will be made through Stripe's payout method, which ensures a secure and reliable transfer of funds to the creator's bank account.

  • After the photoshoot has ended, the photographer/videographer will send a confirmation that the shoot has been completed. Users will receive a notification and will be required to accept this confirmation, as well as acknowledge that they have reviewed the photos/videos on the back of the camera during or after the shoot. This process is essential for both parties to receive what they are due - the photographer/videographer must send this confirmation to receive their payout, while the client must accept it to receive their photos.

  • Plandid won’t allow users to book you if your time slot is already booked by another user. Additionally, you can manually block off dates and switch off your current availability as needed.

  • Our service fee is 10% of the booking cost.

  • Plandid prioritize the safety and security of our customers and photographers/videographers. To ensure secure payouts, we require photographers to provide a form of government ID and the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number (SSN). Please be assured that this information is kept confidential and is only used by the IRS to prepare 1099 forms for your taxes.

  • As a photographer with Plandid, you have the flexibility to determine your pricing structure. This includes setting your base rates as well as additional fees, such as for studio usage, travel, extra edits, and other add-ons.

  • You can update or replace any of the eight images in your portfolio at your discretion, ensuring it always showcases your best work.

  • We understand the unpredictable nature of a photographer's schedule. That's why our app empowers you to define and adjust your availability as per your convenience. Additionally, you can designate specific dates as unavailable or "blackout" dates right from the app.

  • Intellectual property is paramount. As a photographer, you retain the copyrights to your images. However, should you desire to feature photos from a Plandid shoot in your portfolio or any other medium, written consent from the client is mandatory. We recommend securing this permission via Plandid's in-app messenger for clarity and traceability.

  • When you refer another photographer to Plandid, it is a win-win for both of you! The referred photographer gets to join our vibrant community, while you earn a reward that helps to lessen your service fees on future bookings. Here is how it works:

    1 - Share your unique referral link with another photographer.

    2 - Once they are accepted and join our community, a $50 reward will be credited to your account.

    3 - This reward can be utilized to offset the service fees on your future bookings. For example, if your next booking incurs a service fee of $20, it will be deducted from your $50 reward, leaving you with a $30 reward balance for future use.

    4 - Continue enjoying reduced service fees as you help us build a stronger Plandid community!

  • When you, as a photographer, introduce a new user to our platform, both you and the new member benefit. Here's how you can make the most of this:

    1 - Share your unique referral link with prospective users.

    2 - When they register using your referral link and make their first booking of $100 or more, a $50 reward will be credited to your account.

    3 - This reward can be utilized to offset the service fees on your future bookings. For example, if your next booking incurs a service fee of $20, it will be deducted from your $50 reward, leaving you with a $30 reward balance for subsequent use.

    The more you refer, the more you can save on service fees, enhancing your earnings with each booking.

  • At Plandid, we empower our photographers with the flexibility to accommodate diverse client requests. If a client expresses the desire to use a studio, and you have one available, you are welcome to set an appropriate fee for its use. This allows you to manage unique client needs while ensuring fair compensation for additional services or resources provided. Remember, clear communication is key – be sure to discuss any additional costs with your client beforehand to maintain transparency and a positive working relationship.

  • Absolutely, at Plandid we understand that every photoshoot is unique and may come with its own set of requirements and costs. You are encouraged to add additional charges that accurately reflect any extra expenses or efforts you incur, such as travel to a specific location. It’s essential to communicate these additional costs clearly with your client ahead of time, ensuring mutual understanding and agreement.

  • Your profile will be made public once the admin approves your profile and you add your payout/tax info from the menu tab. Admin typically approves you same day or at a max of 48 hours. However, you won’t be available to book for the day you are approved on the platform. Ex. if you are approved on Oct 26, you can receive bookings from Oct 27 onwards.
